KUWAIT: Justice Khaled AlÜMuzaini announced early Sunday morning the 10 winners of the 2009 parliamentary elections of the First Constituency with Dr. Masouma AlÜMubarak topping the list of winners.
AlÜMubarak, the third woman announced to be elected into parliament, holds a PhD in the Philosophy of International Relations from Denver University, Colorado. She also holds a masters degree in international relations, and another in political sciences. She holds a diploma in planning and a bachelors in political sciences. She is a lecturer at Kuwait University and was a visiting professor at Denver University (1986Ü1988), and the University of Bahrain (1990Ü1991). She became Kuwait''s first female minister when she was appointed Minister of Planning and State Minister for Administrative Development Affairs in 2005. She was appointed Minister of Communications in 2006 and Minister of Health in 2007.
Hussein AlÜQallaf was born in 1958 and holds a degree in Law and Islamic Sharia. He was elected to the National Assembly in 1996, 1999, 2003 and 2008.
Hussein AlÜHuraiti was born in 1962 and holds a degree in law and held a number of positions with the prosecution. He also lectured at Kuwait Institute for Judicial and Legal Studies, Sheikh Saad AlÜAbdullah Academy of Security and Police Sciences, and the Interior Ministry''s Criminal Investigation Department. AlÜHuraiti was elected to the National Assembly in 2006 and 2008, and was appointed Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in 2008.
As for Yousef AlÜZalzala, he was born in 1959 and holds a PhD in Statistics from the University of Colorado. He held the position of Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs and Research at Kuwait University and is a member of the Kuwait Human Rights Society and Kuwait Journalists'' Association. He was elected to the National Assembly in 2003 and 2006, and was appointed Minister of Commerce and Industry in 2005.
Faisal AlÜDuwaisan, born in 1964, holds a high school diploma. He works at the Kuwait Radio, and headed Kuwait Television''s Channel Three. He was named Deputy Director General of private AlÜWatan TV, as well as being appointed as media advisor in the National United Media Company.
Meanwhile, Saleh Ashour was born in 1953 and holds a diploma in communications, a bachelors degree in economy, and a diploma in military sciences. He was formerly a colonel in the air force and an engineer in the Ministry of Communications. He was a National Assembly member in 1999, 2003, 2006 and 2008.
As for Abdullah AlÜRoumi, he was born in 1949 and holds a law degree. He was elected a member of the National Assembly in 1985, 1992, 1999, 2003, 2006 and 2008 and is a member of Kuwait Lawyers'' Association.
Mikhlid AlÜAzmi was born in 1961 and holds a degree in geography. He was a member of the Municipal Council in 1993 and a member of the National Assembly in 1996, 1999, 2003 and 2008.
Hassan Johar, born in 1960, holds a PhD in the Philosophy of Political Sciences. He taught at Kuwait University between 1991 and 1996. Jowhar was elected MP in 1996, 1999, 2003, 2006 and 2008.
And finally, Adnan Abdulsamad was born in 1950 and holds a bachelors degree in political and economic sciences and a diploma in planning. He held a number of positions at various ministries before turning to the private sector. He was elected to the National Assembly in 1981, 1992, 1996, 1999, 2006 and 2008. ÜKUNA

KUWAIT: Justice Jawad AlÜAbdullah announced Sunday morning the 10 winners of the Second Constituency of the 2009 parliamentary elections.
Marzouq AlÜGhanim was born in 1968 and holds a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. He held a number of positions, including Chairman of Boubyan Petrochemicals. AlÜGhanim was elected to the National Assembly in 2006 and 2008.
In second place, Ali AlÜRashid was born in 1976 and holds a degree and a higher diploma in law. He held a number of public positions, and was member of the bureau investigating the crime of the ousted Iraqi regime in 2000. AlÜRashid became a member of the National Assembly in 2003, 2006 and 2008.
As for Jassem AlÜKharafi, born in 1940, he holds a diploma in business. He was elected to the National Assembly in 1975, 1981, 1985, and 1995, and was National Assembly Speaker in 1999, 2003, 2006 and 2008. He also held membership on a number of boards and was Director General of the Mohammad AbdulÜMohsen AlÜKharafi Group between 1961 and 1985.
Meanwhile, Jamaan AlÜHarbash was born in 1970 and holds a PhD in Islamic Ideology. He is a college professor and a lecturer with the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs. He was elected into the National Assembly in 2006 and 2008.
Abdulrahman AlÜAnjari, in fifth place, was born in 1957 and holds a bachelors degree in business from the U.S. Among the positions he held is Director General of Kuwait''s Agricultural Food Products Co.
As for Khaled AlÜSultan, he was born in 1940 and holds a masters degree in business administration and a bachelors degree in aviation engineering. He held a number of prominent positions, including chairman of Kuwait Graduates Society and Jamiyat Ihyaa Iturath AlÜIslami. He was elected into the National Assembly in 1981 and 2008.
Khalaf Dumaither, in seventh place, was born in 1952 and holds a teaching diploma. He was a member of the National Council in 1990 and was elected a member of the National Assembly in 1981, 1985, 1992, 1996, 1999, 2003, 2006 and 2008.
Eighth place winner, Mohammed Barrak AlÜMutair, was born in 1969 and holds a bachelors degree in business. He was formerly the director general of a trading company and a board member in an investment company. He became member of the National Assembly in 2003, 2006 and 2008.
Meanwhile, Adnan AlÜMuttawa was born in 1954 and holds a bachelors degree in engineering from the University of Leeds. He works at the Kuwait Stock Exchange and was an engineering consultant for the Public Industry Authority in 2006Ü2007.
In tenth place, Salwa AlÜJassar, now the fourth woman to be elected into parliament holds a PhD in Philosophy from the U.S., as well as a master''s degree in education and bachelors in geography from Kuwait University. KUWAIT: Justice Mohammad Bin Naji announced early Sunday morning the 10 winners in the Third Constituency with Aseel AlÜAwadhi and Rola Dashit being the first female candidates winning seats in Kuwait''s history.
Roudhan AlÜRoudhan was born in 1965 and holds a diploma. He was vice president of the Municipal Council between 1999 and 2001, and chairman of the council between 2001 and 2003. AlÜRoudhan was elected into the National Assembly in 2008 and was appointed Health Minister the same year.
Dr. Aseel AlÜAwadhi, who came second, holds a PhD in Political Philosophy from Texas University and a bachelors degree with a minor in political sciences from Kuwait University. She was a member of Amnesty International in 1988Ü1991, a volunteer at the Kuwaiti Society for Victims of War in 1991Ü1993. She has been a lecturer at Kuwait University''s Arts College since 2006.
Veteran Ahmad AlÜSaadoun was born in 1934 and holds a degree in literature. He was formerly the Assistant Undersecretary for Mail and Telephones, and member of the National Assembly in 1975Ü2008. He was elected Deputy Speaker in 1981 and Speaker in 1985, 1992, and 1996.
Faisal AlÜMislem, coming forth, was born in 1962 and holds a PhD in Modern and Contemporary Political History from the University of Wales. He is a member of the Faculty of Arts at Kuwait University. He was elected to the National Assembly in 2003, 2006 and 2008.
Saleh AlÜMulla was born in 1971 and holds a bachelors degree in business from Kuwait University. He worked as a diplomat and is currently engaged in the global marketing sector of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation. He was previously elected to the National Assembly in 2008.
Naji Abdulhadi, who came sixth, was born in 1961 and holds a bachelor degree in Engineering. He worked as Director of the Safety Department at the Kuwait Municipality, member of the Municipal Council in 1999 and is viceÜchairman of the Kuwait Society of Engineers.
Rola Dashti, the second women winning a parliamentary seat, holds a PhD in Population Economy from John Hopkins University in the U.S. She held a number of consultative positions in companies and is Chairperson of Kuwait Economic Society.
Adel AlÜSaraawi was born in 1962 and holds a bachelors degree in accounting. He held a number of leading positions with the Public Authority for Assessment of Compensation for Damages resulting from the Iraqi aggression. AlÜSaraawi became a member of the National Assembly in 2003, 2006 and 2008.
Waleed AlÜTabtabaie was born in 1964 and holds a PhD in Islamic Sharia and taught at Kuwait University. He was a member of the National Assembly in 1996, 1999, 2003, 2006 and 2008. AlÜTabtabaie was also EditorÜinÜChief of AlÜMishkat magazine and wrote columns in Al Watan, AlÜRai AlÜAam, and AlÜDeera magazine.
The last MP to be elected in the Third Constituency is Ali Saleh AlÜOmairi, who was born in 1958 and holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry and taught at the UAE University in 1990 and 1991, at Kuwait University between 1992 and 1994, and at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training between 1994 and 1997. KUWAIT: Justice Is''haq AlÜKandari announced Sunday morning the winners of the Fourth Constituency of the 2009 parliamentary elections.
Musallam AlÜBarrak was born in 1956 and holds a degree in geography. He held several food, health, and municipal positions and was elected to the National Assembly in 1996, 1999, 2003, 2006 and 2008.
Mohammad Hayef AlÜMutairi was born in 1964 and holds a bachelors degree in Islamic Studies. He was employed at the Kuwait Municipality, and was elected to the National Assembly in 2008.
Hussein Mezyad was born in 1955 and holds a degree in literature. He was a Municipal Council member in 1992 and 1995, and was elected a member of the National Assembly in 1999, 2003 and 2006.
Daifallah BuRamiah, born in 1957, holds a masters degree in public health, and held several positions in different hospitals. He was elected a member of the National Assembly in 2003, 2006 and 2008.
Askar AlÜEnezi was born in 1971 and holds a diploma in management. He is an employee of the Ministry of Communication. He also won a chair in the Municipal Council in 2005 and was previously elected to the National Assembly in 2008.

Falah AlÜAzmi, born in 1961, holds a high school degree. He works at Kuwait National Petroleum Co. and is a board member of the Fintas CoÜop Society.
Saadoun Hammad AlÜOtaibi, born in 1959, holds a bachelor degree. He was a former MP in 2006 and 2008. He was also a member in the National Council in 1990.
Salem AlÜNamlan AlÜAzmi was born in 1967. He holds a masters degree in law and is Assistant Director at the Ministry of Interior''s Investigations Department.
Saad AlÜAzmi was born in 1950 and holds a university license. He was elected MP in 2006 and 2008. He was a member of the National Council in 1990.
